600D flame-retardant Oxford fabric is not inflammable. After special processing, it can prevent the spread of flames and automatically extinguish within a certain period of time, thereby reducing property losses and ensuring life safety. Flame retardant fabrics are widely used and play an important role in life and work.
The flame retardant performance can be judged by the burning speed of Oxford fabric. Contact the flame for a certain period of time according to the prescribed method, and then remove the flame to measure the time the fabric continues to burn with flame or without flame, as well as the degree of damage to the fabric; at the same time, if the flame retardant performance is good, there is no harm to the human body and the environment. Hazardous substances indicate that the quality of the flame retardant cloth is better.
Extinguishing immediately after leaving the fire depends on the temperature and air flow (oxygen) of the fire at that time and the length of time it has been in this high temperature environment. If the oxygen index of textile materials is above 21% (the oxygen concentration in natural air is 21%), the textile product is self-extinguishing. According to the size of the extreme oxygen index, fabrics are usually divided into flammable (LOI less than 20%), combustible (LOI equal to 20%–26%), flame-retardant (LOI equal to 26%–34%) and non-combustible (LOI> 35%) four levels.
When the flame retardant function exceeds its limit or the time it can function, the flame retardant effect disappears and is no different from ordinary fabrics.
The shorter the flaming burning time and the flameless burning time of the fire-retardant Oxford cloth, and the lower the degree of damage, the better the flame-retardant performance of the fabric; conversely, the better the flame-retardant performance of the fabric. Poor flame retardant properties.
